Packet Pickup and registration will be at the Heath Shoppe on Friday from 3:30 to 6:30pm and on Saturday from 6:30 to 7:30am
Shahin Hadian of Fleet Feet Sports Knoxville will be holding a triathlon clinic at 6 PM on Friday, July 9 at the lower parking lot of the YMCA in West Knoxville. Shahin Hadian is a USA Triathlon certified coach and will cover topics such as race course information, transition set-up, gear requirements, nutritional needs and training goals. After the clinic, you are welcome to join Shahin’s training group and ride the bike course and get first hand tips on how to have a faster and safer bike ride.

After 6/27 - Individual $50 Relay $65

Return to the site of Knoxville's first triathlon (originally where the TriDeltathon was held). The Westside YMCA Triathlon is a sprint race that is perfect for the new triathlete. Featuring a pool swim and a flat bike and run, it enable the new racer to learn about the sport of triathlon while giving opportunities to enjoy a fast and fun course.
Course Description
SWIM
200 yards
The swim takes place in the Westside YMCA pool. Athletes start in time-trial format, beginning one at a time in order of expected finish time (with fastest swimmers starting first). Swimmers follow a snake-like course, swimming up one line, down another, up the third, etc.
BIKE
12 kilometers
The bike course winds through a wooded neighborhood near the swim venue.
RUN
distance: 4 kilometers
The run course is very flat and fast - perfect for a PR!

Race Day Events has a NO REFUND policy. However, we do offer partial credits for cancellations during our cancellation periods.
Cancellation - a credit for 75% of your race registration fee will be offered until 10 days prior to the race date. Credits can be used to register for another “Race Day Events” event and will be valid for 12 months after the event date. Please e-mail or telephone either Martin or Kevin.
