Race Day Events has a NO REFUND policy. However, we do offer partial credits for cancellations during our cancellation periods.
Cancellation - a credit for 75% of your race registration fee will be offered until 10 days prior to the race date. Credits can be used to register for another “Race Day Events” event and will be valid for 12 months after the event date. Please e-mail or telephone either Martin or Kevin.

Packet pick-up and registration will be held at:

Note: USAT rules state each athlete must be present to pick up their race packet and provide both a photo ID and the USAT membership card if they are an annual member. Otherwise, they need proof that they purchased the USAT insurance for the day. The only exception where a person may pick up another athlete's packet is a legal guardian picking up a packet for a minor. When picking up packets for a team, all members must be present. In case of a team consisting one or more minors, each minor or legal guardian for that minor must be present. No exceptions.
Springbrook Sprint Triathlon is a very popular pool sprint race and a great event for the beginner triathlete. It involves a short pool swim and a fast bike that attracted almost 400 competitors in 2009.
Course Description
SWIM
200 yards
The swim takes place in a pool, providing a perfect, safe experience for the new triathlete.
BIKE
9 miles
The 9 mile bike course is flat and fast.
RUN
3 miles
The run course is fairly flat (no major hills) and suitable for all beginner athletes.
Shahin Hadian of Fleet Feet Sports Knoxville will hold a triathlon clinic at 6 PM on Friday, August 6 at Fleet Feet Sports. Shahin Hadian is a USA Triathlon certified coach and will cover topics such as race course information, transition set-up, gear requirements, nutritional needs and training goals. Bring your gear if you would like to practice.
